New works on wood panel and linen, all share one thing in common; being small approx 12x12 inches and upwards). I always have in mind that I wanted to create small jewel -like magical paintings...... just received a shipment of small stretcher frames and a new roll of linen, so more small works to come. Hope you enjoy them!
silence speaks volumes and yes I am enjoying them a lot. I am interested that I can see clear traces of previous versions sometimes very different to the final layer. In the third from top painting there looks to be a pool of paint over-painted with (soft geometric) shapes. in my own work i attempt this but it just comes over as incongruous (perhaps because mine is more geometric), whereas here it succeeds.
