I've been making a conscious effort to paint light colourful paintings, however in these dark winter days close to Christmas the paintings have a mind of their own.......As I start off with light, bright and colour, I am in complete control of the work. Some point in the painting comes a switch over, where the painting starts to demand a certain criteria, I then have to go with the flow of this ...this painting Theoretical started very light and colourful, the transformation certainly has taken me by surprise.
