A lovely surprise gift was given to me this morning, a friend of mine Nancy just got back from Venice, she bought me this hand-bound marbled journal, wonderful! I think that I'll use it for colour studies.

Birds

Spent 2 hours yesterday photographing birds in the garden (when I should of been painting) ..the shots aren't great but I really enjoyed myself, might even put a bird in my Perseus series that I'm working on.

I think this is probably my first post of 2012, been ultra busy and have a new puppy :-) have been booked for a mixed and solo show this year.....
